- 1 / 5By Alfred SoferNever got to even order food. The maître d' who himself smelled horribly, told me to remove my hat. I grew up in NYC and have traveled extensively. Food and travel is my passion. I've been to snob establishments before, but this one is just over the top. The hat in the restaurant etiquette died in the 30's. no need to attempt to teach your patrons snobbish habits. Not interested in my business? That's fine. I walked out to The village restaurant next door. They have fantastic food and service. My kids loved the next door restaurant too.December 26, 2016
